Judge Delays Sentencing in Videotaped Rape Case

An Orange County Superior Court judge postponed sentencing Friday for three young men convicted of felony sexual assault on an intoxicated then-16-year-old girl.
Judge Francisco Briseno postponed the sentencing for Gregory Haidl, 19, and Keith Spann and Kyle Nachreiner, both 20, until June 16. Meanwhile, he ordered fitness reports to determine if they should be sentenced as adults or juveniles.
The three were 17 when they videotaped the July 2002 sexual assault at Haidl’s father’s home in Corona del Mar.
