Reporting from Las Vegas — Comedian Daniel Tosh has been one of the most-requested headliners at the Mirage, so he has booked out eight new dates in Las Vegas to fill out his calendar in late summer and fall.
The stand-up comedian takes over the Terry Fator Theatre.
Nominated for “Comedy Special of the Year” at the 2012 Comedy Awards, Tosh has a casual style and sharp material. His latest Comedy Central show “Tosh.0” showcases Internet clips with commentary from the funnyman that is often not politically correct. “I’m not a misogynistic and racist person...But I do find those jokes funny, so I say them,” he tells Entertainment Weekly.
His first job was short-lived as a telemarketer in Florida, and from there he moved on to Los Angeles to tour around the comedy circuit. By 1998, he was named a “Fresh Face” by “Just for Laughs” in Montreal. Since, he’s even done commercials for Taco Bell.
Tosh’s dates at the Mirage include Friday, Aug. 28; Saturday, Aug. 29; Friday, Sept. 25; Saturday, Sept. 26; Friday, Oct. 16; Saturday, Oct. 17; Friday, Nov. 13; and Saturday, Nov. 14.
Tickets start at $59.99.
Tickets: Mirage, (702) 792-7777
