Napa’s River Terrace Inn offers wine tastings, restaurant credit
- Share via
Napa is all about good wine and good food -- and a summer package from the River Terrace Inn on the Napa River makes it easy to take it all in. Free tastings at more than a dozen wineries and bars, as well as a restaurant credit good for $75 to $200, make August a good time to visit and explore.
The deal: Some nice freebies come with the Summer Sip Away package: free bike rentals, a Downtown Wine Tasting Card with access to 12 winery tasting rooms and wine bars ($25 each) and tasting passes to Corley Family Monticello Vineyards ($15 each). The deal also comes with a $75 credit at the inn’s Cuvee restaurant for a two-night stay, $125 for three nights and $200 for four or more nights.
When: The offer is good through Aug. 31.
Tested: I found availability for a stay Aug. 14 to 16 starting at $289 a night plus tax -- $30 more than the best available rate. The room comes with a king-sized bed and free high-speed Internet in addition to the package extras that add up to $155 for two people. With this two-night stay, the $75 credit goes pretty far at Cuvee, where entrees cost $27 to $29 each -- unless you order wine, of course.
