Orlando hotel kicks off kid zone pool with $89 rooms

The Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Florida’s amusement park belt has opened a new pool play area with water slides, water jets and a water windmill designed for kids, and the hotel has lowered rates to $89 a night for families.
The deal: The Splash & Stay package includes a standard room that sleeps up to two adults and two children. It also includes a free breakfast for kids 12 and younger with each adult meal. To get this deal use the promo code “SUM” when making a reservation.
When: The offer is good for stays Aug. 7-Oct. 1 but reservations must be made by Aug. 31. As always, the deal is based on availability.
Tested: This deal could make for a cool Labor Day vacation on the cheap. I found availability for a three-night stay starting Sept. 2 for $89 plus tax a night. Room total with tax comes to $300 for four, but that’s before you start adding on the cost of theme-park tickets.
