USC-UCLA dual track meet is Sunday

USC will be a heavy favorite when the Trojans host rival UCLA in the annual track and field dual meet Sunday.
The USC women’s team is top-ranked in the nation, coming off a strong performance at the Mt. San Antonio College relays. The Trojans’ men’s team is ranked fourth.
USC features several top sprinters, including Andre DeGrasse, who has the nation’s top times this season in the 100- and 200-meter sprints, 9.81 seconds and 20.16. Teammate BeeJay Lee is right behind. His best of 9.96 seconds in the 100 is third in the nation, and his 20.27 in the 200 is tied for second.
The Trojans’ women’s team is paced by Ky Westbrook, whose time of 11.20 in the 100 is fourth in the nation, and Alexis Faulknor, who is tied for fifth at 11.22.
Tera Novy and Alexandra Collatz give USC a pair of top women’s discus throwers. Novy’s season best of 193 feet 11 inches is second-best in the nation, and Collatz is fourth at 189-8.
UCLA’s top-ranked individuals are Zibby Boyer, whose season-best high jump of 6-1 1/4 is fifth-best among women, and decathlete Marcus Nilsson, whose score of 7,599 points is sixth-best.
The meet is scheduled to start at 2 p.m., with Pac-12 Networks broadcasting live from 4-6 p.m.
