Update: The Galaxy takes a break from MLS play as it starts the Group A stage of the CONCACAF Champions League tournament against Honduran champion Motagua. Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena has called this “the biggest game of the year.” The Galaxy will play two games (home and away) against each of three foreign clubs in group stage. Motagua has several former MLS players, such as Ivan Guerrero, Milton Reyes, Guillermo Ramirez and Amado Guevara, who was the MLS most valuable player in 2004. Four other MLS teams are in the Champions League tournament: the Seattle Sounders, Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas and Toronto FC.
