Softball: It’s a Chatsworth-Carson City final on Saturday

No. 1-seeeded Chatsworth will take on No. 2 Carson on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Cal State Dominguez Hills in the City Section Division I softball final.
Chatsworth defeated Port of Los Angeles, 8-6, on Wednesday.
Kyla Gendler got the win and Brianna Velasquez picked up the save by getting the final two outs.
A four-run sixth inning keyed the Chancellors. Lindsay Lowe had an RBI double and Vanessa Portillo hit a two-run home run. Savana Ramirez hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and Rosemary Garcia hit a two-run home run in the seventh for Port of L.A.
Carson defeated Birmingham, 11-1.
