PROVO, Utah — The visiting Anteaters were held to a season-worst .152 team hitting percentage in a 25-16, 25-18, 25-20 nonconference loss on Thursday.
Arielle Manz and Marisa Bubica had five block assists apiece to help UCI (5-2) post a 9-5 advantage in team blocks.
Aly Squires and Cassidy Pickrell had nine kills apiece for UCI, while Shelley Anderson had 24 assists and two aces.
BYU is 6-3.
UCI plays Utah at the Utah Valley tournament on Friday.
