ON THE AGENDA

Q-Club proposes expansion

The owner of the Q-Club has requested permission to expand the business

with an outdoor dining patio.

What to expect:

The Planning Commission could delay a vote on the expansion until June

26. Robert Babish, owner of the Q-Club on 1525 Mesa Verde Drive E., also

requested a full liquor license. Right now, the bar can only serve beer

and wine. The Planning Department staff inadvertently omitted that

portion of Babish’s request in its public hearing notice.

Home Ranch project revised

C.J. Segerstrom and Sons has requested some changes to its proposed

commercial development on the 93-acre Home Ranch property.

What to expect: The commission will almost definitely delay a vote until

either June 26 or August 28. The Segerstroms submitted a new plan for an

office park, housing tract and IKEA furniture store last week.

The first plan called for more than 2 million square feet of office

space. The new plan replaced roughly half of the offices with more than

900 homes.
