A’s hold on, edge Angels, 11-10

In a high scoring Majors Division matchup between the A’s and
Angels on Tuesday, the A’s managed to hold on for an 11-10 victory in Huntington Valley Little League action at Inspiration Field.
Shayne Robinson and Brandon Kinney both topped the A’s with three hits
each, Andy Leeser had a two-RBI single, and Jeremy Brock also collected
an RBI.
The Angels also had some big hitters in Michael Hensley, who led all
hitters with a 4 for 4 performance, which also included three RBI. Other
big bats came from Joe Byers who went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles and
an RBI, Mitchel Queen doubled and singled with two RBI, and Frankie Mead
had two hits and an RBI.

Rangers 7, White Sox 4
Mike Rhodes went 3 for 3 with a double, David Mendoza went 2 for 3 with a
triple, Mike Wellwood had an RBI single, and Cody Steiner doubled for the
Rangers; Shawn Eley went 2 for 3 to lead the White Sox, and Mike Mendez
doubled.
Mariners 15, Diamondbacks 1
Daniel Miller and Matt McGwire each had an RBI double and Lucas Aumiller
and Scott Lindman both had RBI singles for the Mariners; Reece Engle’s
single accounted for the lone Diamondbacks run.
