Canine competitors demonstrate athletic prowess at Incredible Dog Challenge

Canine athletes had their day Saturday on the second day of the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge at Huntington State Beach.
Dogs leapt and twisted to snatch Frisbees out of the air, zig-zagged in head-to-head weave pole races, ran agility courses, bounded over hurdles scaled to Jack Russell terriers and bolted off a dock into a 19,000-gallon swimming pool.
On Friday, water-loving dogs demonstrated their surfing skills.
