Earthquake: 3.9 quake strikes near San Jacinto

A shallow magnitude 3.9 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning two miles from San Jacinto, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 12:39 a.m. PDT at a depth of 9.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was four miles from Hemet and six miles from Valle Vista.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
