The Big Bang Theory Leonard and Penny (Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) are still undecided on when they’ll get married, but detail-obsessed Sheldon (Jim Parsons) insists that they pick a date. Mayim Bialik, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and Melissa Rauch also star in the season finale. 8 p.m. CBS
The Vampire Diaries Alaric and Jo (Matt Davis, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) finally head to the altar in this new episode. Nina Dobrev, Kat Graham and Paul Wesley also star and Annie Wersching guest stars. 8 p.m. KTLA
Bones In the first of two new episodes, a private-school student’s murder is linked to bullying, which brings back uncomfortable memories for Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Then, a suspected serial killer’s (Gabriel Salvador) imminent execution prompts questions about the man’s guilt. Linda Lavin guest stars. 8 p.m. Fox
The Odd Couple Felix (Thomas Lennon) substitute-teaches a yoga class but agitates the students, including one played by Weird Al Yankovic. Matthew Perry also stars. 8:30 p.m. CBS. A second new episode follows at 9.
Scandal Fitz’s (Tony Goldwyn) exasperation at Vice President Ross’ (Artemis Pebdani) streak of independence worsens when Olivia (Kerry Washington) is hired to defend a female Navy officer. 9 p.m. ABC
Elementary Sutton Foster guest stars as an entomologist involved in Holmes and Watson’s (Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu) of a beekeeper’s death. 10 p.m. CBS
The Comedians Josh (Josh Gad) is rumored to be up for a movie role, which goes to his head, and Billy (Billy Crystal) isn’t happy. 10 p.m. FX
Dig In the season finale, Peter (Jason Isaacs) races to stop the Order of Moriah’s plan to trigger the End of Days by destroying the Temple Mount. With Anne Heche. 10 p.m. USA
