Truth About Porn

Re “Andrea Dworkin, 58; Feminist Author Known for Her War on Pornography,” obituary, April 15: As I struggle to put into words the outrage and sadness I experienced recently when Internet porn invaded our home computer, Dworkin’s condemnation of porn as “a celebration of rape and injury to women” shines like a beacon of truth.

That porn appears to routinely depict the humiliation and violation of women as sexually exciting and enjoyable also injures men and debases the whole of humankind.

Thank you, Andrea Dworkin, for your life’s work in bringing this important topic to light.
