Judge Approves Enron Settlement With Execs

Shareholders of energy trader Enron Corp., which owes creditors $74 billion, won preliminary approval of a $168-million settlement with some of the company’s former executives.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Arthur Gonzalez in New York approved the settlement, which must also be certified by U.S. District Judge Melinda Harmon in Houston.
