Re “LAPD Settling Abuse Scandal,” March 31: The Rampart Division police scandal was just the tip of the iceberg. By submerging the iceberg (no trial and payouts to victims), the iceberg still persists. All that’s been done is to push it underwater. Pretending won’t make it go away.
