Hancock Bounces Valley From Playoffs

Allan Hancock College outscored Valley by 25 points in the second half en route to an 89-69 victory at home Saturday night in the first round of the Southern California regional basketball playoffs.
Trevor Wright led Hancock with 25 points, including 17 in the second half. Wright made six three-point attempts for Hancock (25-5).
Michael Jackson led Valley (12-20) with 17 points.
Steve Ward, the Southern California Conference scoring leader, had 14 points, 11.7 below his season average.
