CAMPAIGN ’88 : Nevada Ballots Surface

Nevada Republican Party officials revised their Feb. 18 presidential straw poll numbers Thursday after turning up 1,276 uncounted ballots. Bush remained the winner with 27%, but Dole switched percentages with “undecided.” He wound up with 23% and “undecided” with 22%.
Kemp moved ahead of Robertson, who dropped two points to 13% as Kemp inched up a point to 14%. The remaining 1% went to former Delaware Gov. Pierre S. (Pete) du Pont IV and former Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig Jr.
