A memorial service for screen and television writer Larry Forrester, probably best known for “Tora! Tora! Tora!,” will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills.
Forrester, whose other credits include such TV movies as “The Ring of Passion” and “Rehearsal for Armageddon,” was 63 when he died at his Northridge home last Friday of an apparent heart attack.
His books included “Fly for Your Life,” the biography of Royal Air Force ace Robert Stanford-Tuck, “Battle of the April Storm” and the “Fathom” spy series. He also wrote and produced for several television series.
