Oleg Cassini’s long-awaited debut in his new career as a professional harness driver was spoiled when his horse reared, dumping the 74-year-old fashion designer on the ground during the post parade before the fourth race at Freehold Raceway in New Jersey.
Cassini was unhurt, but had to scratch from the race and was ordered by a track doctor to sit out the rest of the day.
