SACRAMENTO — Gov. George Deukmejian on Tuesday reappointed an El Toro woman and a Corona del Mar man to the Orange County Fair Board, officially known as the 32nd District Agricultural Assn.
Nancy B. Dooley, 41, of El Toro has served on the board since 1984. A former aide to Rep. Robert E. Badham (R-Newport Beach), Dooley has been a political fund-raiser and consultant since 1981.
Clinton M. Hoose, 50, has been on the board since 1976.
Hoose was the founder and president of Rion Hardware Corp. of Newport Beach from 1961 until 1979. Since then he has been a self-employed investor based in Costa Mesa.
Dooley and Hoose are both Republicans. Their new terms on the board will expire in 1992.
