Certron Corp., a manufacturer of audio recording tapes and floppy disks, reported that net earnings increased 4% to $130,000 for its fiscal 1988 first quarter ended Jan. 31, compared to $125,000 in the same period a year ago. The Anaheim-based company said revenues for the quarter declined 2.4% to $6.8 million, compared to $7 million the same quarter a year earlier. Certron said the slightly lower revenues were caused by a decrease in contract manufacturing.
