Point Loma Girls Regain Poll Lead

SAN DIEGO — After two weeks at No. 2, the Point Loma High School girls’ basketball team regained the top spot in The Times’ final San Diego County top 10.
Point Loma (25-2) defeated Santana, 48-47, in the final of the Kiwanis tournament Dec. 26. That was the only loss for Santana (22-1) this season. Point Loma lost to Fallbrook (39-37) Jan. 12 and Patrick Henry (52-50) Feb. 2.
