2-A Wrestling : Buena Park Beats University for Title

Buena Park High School won the Southern Section 2-A wrestling championship Saturday at Nogales High in La Puente.
The Coyotes scored 114 points to beat University, second with 98 points. Alhambra was third with 91 points, followed by Laguna Hills with 89.
Shahariar Pourdenash led University to its second-place finish by defeating Mike Garcia of Santa Fe, 6-1, in the heavyweight division.
Heath Sims of Woodbridge beat Bill Morrell of Don Lugo, 10-2, to win the 135-pound division.
