Magic Can’t Compare With West, Robertson

In reference to Scott Ostler’s article comparing Magic Johnson to the two greatest guards who ever played, Jerry West and Oscar Robertson: Give me a break.
Comparing Johnson to West and Robertson is like comparing Marc Wilson to John Elway.
Robertson was a better shooter, just as good a passer and a better rebounder, and he was only 6 feet 5 inches.
West, no question the greatest guard who ever played, was a better shooter and, on defense, don’t even try to put Magic in his class. Also, if the game is on the line, who would you rather have the ball, Tragic or West?
Magic is not even the best guard in the NBA today. Michael Jordan is; check the stats.
