Regarding the best actor nominations for the Academy Awards (“ ‘Emperor’ Leads Topsy-Turvy Oscar Race,” by Michael Cieply, Feb. 18):
For “Good Morning, Vietnam,” Robin Williams should have been nominated for best adaptation of a stand-up routine to a motion picture.
For “Roxanne,” Steve Martin should have been nominated for best acting.
