Oscar Race Aftershocks

As members of the entertainment industry, we hang our heads in shame for the acting branch of the Academy. They have proven that big bucks truly rule the Oscars this year.
The blatant oversight of Lillian Gish, Bette Davis and Joanne Woodward is an embarrassment. The women nominated are good actresses indeed, but pale in comparison to the three women who helped set the standards by which those nominated are still trying to achieve.
A black cloud hangs over the magic land of Hollywood, for on this day they have proven to the world that Oscars can be bought and are not earned.
