Kings Face North Stars in Minnesota

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The Kings, who completed a 3-3 home stand by losing three of their last four games, open a two-game trip tonight against the Minnesota North Stars.
The North Stars are winless in their last six games and are last in the Norris Division with a 16-33-9 record, worst in the National Hockey League.
They are 0-2 against the Kings, including a 5-0 decision Jan. 30 at the Forum that was the first of three straight shutout losses for the North Stars, who were held scoreless for a club-record 262 minutes 3 seconds.
