CALGARY, Canada — The final two heats in the women’s Olympic luge were postponed today because gusting winds at Canada Olympic Park would have made the course unsafe and unfair, race officials said. Ski jumping events in the park were also put off.
The women’s luge runs were rescheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m. PST. The ski jumping events were rescheduled for Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
