Loewe Rites Scheduled

A public memorial service for composer Frederick Loewe, who died Sunday at age 86, will be held at 11 a.m. today at his home at 815 Panorama Road, Palm Springs.
A eulogy for Loewe, who teamed with Alan Jay Lerner to write the music for “My Fair Lady,” “Camelot” and “Gigi,” will be delivered by comedian Red Skelton, a longtime friend.
