Castle Park Moves Into Top 10 Poll

SAN DIEGO — Castle Park, which earned its 12th straight victory last week, is the only newcomer to The Times’ San Diego County boys’ basketball Top 10.
Torrey Pines leads the poll for the eighth straight week.
Castle Park, which hasn’t played a game at home this season because of problems with its gym, defeated Mar Vista, 89-55, Tuesday to improve to 16-7 and clinch the Metro-South Bay League championship. The Trojans are ranked 10th this week.
