Clippers’ Cage Is an All-Star Person
Ask a Clipper fan why he or she sticks around, and part of the answer will always be Michael Cage. He has always exemplified class and dignity on the court and off. He takes the time to say hello and thanks us when we have sent Clipper logos made of chocolate. He’s taken the time to have his picture taken with our little girls.
It’s great to be able to talk with the players, be recognized and appreciated for loyalty to the team. One doesn’t have to be a movie star to be part of the game at the Sports Arena.
Last year, our son was honorary ballboy for a game with the Chicago Bulls. When asked if it was exciting to be under the basket watching Michael Jordan, he replied: “Yeah, it was cool. But the best part was how nice Michael Cage and Tim Kempton were to me.”
Watching the NBA All-Star game the other day, I thought Michael Cage should have been there.
