8 Post Offices Close on Saturdays

Starting today, eight San Fernando Valley post offices will be closed on Saturdays, U. S. Postal Service officials announced.
The closures were prompted by a $1.2-billion budget cut that is curtailing postal services nationwide, said John Conte, a Postal Service spokesman.
The post offices affected are:
Burbank Main Office, 2140 North Hollywood Way.
Canoga Park Annex, 7701 Canoga Ave.
North Hollywood Main Office, 11304 Chandler Blvd.
Northridge Main Office, 9534 Reseda Blvd.
Pacoima Main Office, 13507 Van Nuys Blvd.
Panorama City Office, 14416 Chase St.
Reseda Office, 7320 Reseda Blvd.
Woodland Hills Main Office, 22121 Clarendon Way.
