Construction is set to begin next September on the Victor Valley Home Center, a $6.5-million, 200,000-square-foot retail center planned for an 18-acre site at Mariposa Road and Cottonwood Avenue in Victorville.
Escondido-based Cahan/Crisell Properties, the developer, is negotiating for an anchor tenant to take a 100,000-square-foot site. The company wants the anchor tenant to be a home-furnishings or home-improvement chain. Other tenants will take sites ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 square feet.
Completion is expected by April, 1989. Santa Monica-based Nadel Partnership is the architect.
