Wrong Channeling

In “It’s Wonderful, It’s Disgusting, It’s the Sweeps” (Jan. 31), Dennis McDougal stated that KABC-TV Channel 7 ran a series titled “Confessions of a Porn Star.”

Had he taken the time to attempt to gather correct information, he would have found that “Confessions of a Porn Star” ran on KNBC-TV Channel 4, not KABC-TV.

Secondly, on the same page McDougal referred to WABC-TV General Manager Bill Applegate. Again, the fact is that Applegate is not the general manager of that station.

So much for accuracy in print media.
