Liquor Warning Signs Pondered

Inglewood City Council members will vote next week on a proposed ordinance requiring establishments that sell liquor to post signs reminding customers that consuming alcohol during pregnancy is dangerous to the fetus.
Councilman Daniel Tabor introduced the proposal, citing research that shows alcohol consumption can cause mental retardation, facial abnormalities and other defects involving heart and bone structure.
