Local News in Brief : Countywide : Farm Bureau Offers College Scholarships

The Orange County Farm Bureau is offering two college scholarships to high school seniors.
The first is the California Farm Bureau’s Scholarship. It is available to students who plan to major in agricultural or home economics studies. The second is the Orange County Farm Bureau’s Tosh Nitta Memorial Scholarship. This is a $500 grant for seniors planning to major in agriculture or home economics.
Applications for both scholarships can be obtained by calling the Farm Bureau at (714) 835-4103. The deadline for applying for the first scholarship is March 1. Deadline for the second is April 8.
