Local News in Brief : Cocaine, Cash and Eight Suspects Seized in Raids

Glendale narcotics investigators confiscated 438 pounds of cocaine, arrested eight Colombian nationals and seized $185,000 in cash in a series of raids across Los Angeles County, police said Monday.
The seizures and arrests in Arcadia, Canyon Country and North Hollywood were made Friday as a result of a two-day investigation that began after a tipster alerted police.
Investigators said they took possession of several weapons and four vehicles, including a Ferrari.
The suspects were held on $2-million bail each. Arrested were Manuel Rodriguez, 37, Woodland Hills; William Bejarano, 20, Los Angeles; Juan Giraldo, 27, Canyon Country; Betty Fiesco, 38, Arcadia; Emilio Valvin, 29, Cali, Colombia; Luis Moreno, 23, Miami; Josephina Correa, 69, of Woodland Hills, and Maria Correa, 21, of North Hollywood.
