Ellen Van Houten has been named director of leasing for Irvine Retail Properties Co., a division of the Irvine Co. Van Houten will oversee several outside management companies and their leasing activities at Newport Center Fashion Island, the Marketplace in Irvine and other retail properties in Newport Beach and Irvine.
