Comedian George Lopez’s wife files divorce papers

Ann Lopez, wife of comedian and ‘Lopez Tonight’ host George Lopez, officially filed for divorce Tuesday in Los Angeles, making good on the couple’s Sept. 27 announcement of a mutual decision to split up.
The filing, first reported by TMZ, indicates she is seeking spousal support, as well as primary physical custody of their 14-year-old daughter Mayan. The Lopezes married in 1993.
No indication of whether there will be a custody battle over the kidney that Ann donated to George back in 2005.
